Whether you are brand new to the game or you are preparing to play competitive AFGA, high school or college golf, RedTail Golf Center has developed one of the most comprehensive and well-respected junior programs anywhere. The RedTail Junior Club/Academy has been recognized as one of the Top 50 junior programs in the country by U.S. Kids Golf for more than 10 years running. Furthermore, Craig Zimmerman, the General Manager and founder of the RedTail Jr. Golf Club/Academy, is one of an extremely select group to have been awarded the Master's Kids Teacher honor. Craig has also been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Teachers in Oregon. The quality, professionalism and experience of our Junior Golf instructors are second to none. We take great pride in our program, and we consider it a tremendous responsibility and privilege to positively impact the lives of so many juniors through the game of golf.
Building confidence, inspiring good sportsmanship and creating a positive learning environment is the mission of the RedTail Junior Golf Academy. We take great care and pride in our Junior Staff as they all receive in-depth training and education as well as unique certifications specifically related to junior golf. Beyond their formal schooling, however, our junior golf instructors are personable, energetic and fun. They also have an exceptional ability to connect with their students and influence them as positive role models. Craig Zimmerman, GM, and Wes Gribas, Asst GM, oversee the entire junior program, and they are always available to answer questions or provide information on any aspect of the RedTail Jr. Golf Club/Academy.
